yourDNAportal.com supports raw data DNA files from these testing companies. Follow the instructions below to download your raw genome data from the test provider you selected and then upload it to yourDNAportal.com
If you have had a DNA test with a provider not on this list you can email us with your raw data and we will investigate if we can develop support for it in the future.
23andme
- Sign in to your 23andme account.
- At the top of the Web page on the right hand side click on your user name to pull down the profile menu.
- Click "Browse Raw Data".
- Click "download your data" in the sentence below the "Your Raw Data" title.
- Click on the blue "Submit request" button at the bottom of the page.
- 23andme will send you an email message with a link to download your raw genetic data. Your Web browser will download the file onto your computer. Usually the file will be located in your download folder.

AncestryDNA
- Sign into your ancestry account.
- Click on the DNA tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Click on settings (cog icon).
- Click on the “Get started” button under “Download your raw DNA data”.
- Ancestry will send an email message to your registered email address asking you to confirm that you want to download your data.
- Open the email message and confirm that you want to download your data by clicking on the link.
- Now back on the ancestryDNA Web page, click on the “Download raw DNA data button”.
- Your Web browser will download the file onto your computer. Usually the file will be located in your download folder.
FTDNA
- Sign in to your myFTDNA account.
- On the menu bar, click myFTDNA > MyDNA > Family Finder > Download Raw Data.
- Click on the data and build you wish to download. We recommend using “Build 37 Raw Data Concatenated”.
- Your Web browser will download the file onto your computer. Usually the file will be located in your download folder.

- To obtain your Geno 2.0 raw data file, contact National Geographic.
